That trend started in 2007 when we had to turn 10,000+ people away at the gates because the stadium was already over capacity. We were called losers, told we took football way too seriously, and made fun of because "there's nothing else to do in Alabama."

Are you throwing that jab at Ohio State fans? Because we've always had large crowds at our spring game. The year before you guys "set the trend" we had almost 65k show up

No, not at all. Just pointing out the irony in the annual Spring game attendance "competition" now, as opposed to what it was like in 2007. We were ridiculed. Now it's a badge of honor.
