I have no animosity against Buzz. He either left or we fired him this year.

Slow your roll. College Station is an unsurpassed environment for raising a family with some beautiful housing areas.

Tennessee is a beautiful state. College Station is a great place to bring up a family. But as far as natural beauty of the landscape Tennessee beats Texas pretty much every day and twice Sunday. That being said we will pay our coach any amount he asks for if he wins. Just ask anyone.

Probably not. It’s not like UT would be the only suitor. You’d be competing with A&M’s money and the draw of other programs with more to offer outside of money (traditional MBB schools).

A move to UT wouldn’t elevate his career. It’s probably a lateral move with less in-state competition.

My guess is he sticks around A&M for 3-4 years and then takes a job at a “basketball school”.

Money is nice but engagement is better. There’s zero reason reed isn’t sold out every night. Students are doing their thing but it’s a ghost town on the alumni side. It’s nice to sell season tickets but the Houston and Dallas Aggies aren’t coming in for the midweek games for sure and less so the Saturday matchups. Reed is about as imposing of an environment as a chucky cheese play pen.

Takes time to generate excitement. Remember we had Buzz for quite a while and his style of play was a buzz kill.

That’s fair, but remember the best days of Billy and Turgeon…I don’t know, maybe it’s just reed arena? I’d rather have a smaller stadium that’s packed to the gills than a rather neutral environment like reed. Maybe they should rebuild G Rollie? lol

Actually the folks that actually won during the 1990s in FB are retiring and it turns out CS is actually a good place to retire to. I see alumni support for other sports growing. See volleyball. See baseball. It’s getting better.

Reed arena can definitely rock. Did so under Gillespie many times

I get ya, but they need to show up. This team deserves sell outs and this coach needs to see the full force support.
