It amazes me every day how drastic the interpration is of practice between you and UU.

FWIW I trust your evaluations over his. You definitely sound more like you know what you are talking about and have been around the game.

Can you set up the blog to allow comments for me?

ETA: I hope Kniles is OK.

ETA: I actually do support you creating a HV account however and posting there. That could actually be funny.

I know. It's a matter of perspective, interpretation, and what exactly each of us sees, and then each person who reads our articles has their own interpretation of our interpretations.

I try to give the facts, and then sometimes my analysis of the facts if I feel like I have a good read or take on something in particular.

Neither UU or I claim to be experts, but we sure try our hardest to be experts!

Honestly I've never played real football in my life, nor have I coached it in any capacity. I've just been a lover of the game from a young age, and have participated in enough other sports to kinda "get it."

I wonder if we're going to be putting another player over at RB to add to our depth now?

My vote is for Rohan Gaines. Check out his high school highlights. He was an option QB in high school as well as safety and special teams player - LINK

That suprises me honestly. I do enjoy your report over most of the one's we have had the last few years.

I hope not! I really like him at safety. I imagine Kelvin Fisher will get a look as well. Have you ever seen his highlight videos? He was ridiculous at RB in high school.

Kelvin is just a small guy and I don't know how wee=ll he could stand the pounding of SEC defenses. But I'm sure he could be used as a "change up" here and there. Rohan's a little more physically developed at this point, but I agree I love him at safety - but I doubt he gets any playing time there this season.

I just try to bring the info with as little "fluff" as possible and in a way that's easy to access and read. It's really fun getting to be the "eyes" for Razorback fans who can't make it to the practices.

Thanks for your support!

That really sucks because it sounds like the play was basically over if 2 guys had him wrapped up.

I'm basing this off memory: there was like one defender underneath him and one from the front and one from the side. He just got twisted hard in the wrong spot.

It's just one of those fine lines - you want your RB to be ready for hard hitting, and you want your defense to be ready to deliver the hard hitting, but how do you accomplish that and not frick yourself like we did today?

Nope. I'm just a student at Arkansas.

I started writing practice reports last week and just posted them on here and hogville. I got a ton of positive feedback so I decided to make a free, simple website to host all my practice reports and also to track the number of views I got.
