Arkansas led Tusculum 30-24 at half last week. Final was 96-47.
Tennessee with a VERY sloppy first half offensively here but leads 42-14.

Don't ever put too much stock in exhibition games. Always get my first judgement from the first power 5 game.

Lol obviously. These games are all but meaningless.
VOLS have another D2 opponent for the opener
but then we have Louisiana who is a KenPom top 100 team and then Georgia Tech who is actually below Louisiana in KenPom in the week after the opener.
Obviously we should be double digit faves in both games but we should get a better idea then.

volfan the problem with having a good team in basketball seems to consistently trying to keep everyone hungry playing bad competition early.
At this point UT has played tougher practice scrimmages than some of the teams they'll play.

Here are the highlights if anyone is interested. They didn't have a public intersquad scrimmage or an overseas tour so this was the only look at this team before the season.

don't remember off the top of my head who did the bracket but there was a bracket version of the top 16 players in the country.
