Where are you getting this from? I'd think uf would be around 99% for incoming freshmen. You're pretty much not getting in with below a 4.0 gpa as a freshman @ UF
pretty sure it's unweighted gpa, only goes up to 4.0

Truth. I was offered a pretty good scholarship to attend florida and I sure as hell didn't have a 4.0 in HS.

i'm sure the majority did not have a 4.0 in highschool. maybe like a 3.7.

High school GPA's don't mean shite.

This is stupid. Some schools use a 4 point scale while others use a 5 point scale. Next time you want to make a comparison use the ACT or SAT.

You basically have to have a 4.0 to get into UF and a 3.8 to get into UGA. Vandy concentrates more on how much money you donate and test scores than actual GPA, but you need around 3.7 to have a shot. Therefor the dumbest peoples at these schools had around a 3.7. But HS GPA are worthless, test scores avg. would be better

3.8 to get into UGA.
Not true. I got accepted and didn't have a 3.8. Granted that was in the mid 90's, but I'm sure it isn't much different now.
How many freshman are accepted into UF every year?

Schools are also self reporting this information, and some report weighted GPAs and others use unweighted. Florida is obviously using weighted, and NYU is most likely using unweighted.
