We like to lose bowl games of all shapes and sizes

That's pretty terrible. Embarrassing actually.
Not nearly as embarrassing as being 5 games over .500 over 20 years.
The bowl record is one of the reasons that R.C. Slocum was fired. (2-11 bowl record)

I'd be curious to see those 9 bowl opponents.
We seem to always get drawn by bowls a touch over our head.

We did get picked for the Cotton Bowl a couple times when we didn't deserve it (05 vs Tennessee for sure) but we've lost plenty of shitty bowl games too.

West Virginia
Nebraska
Oklahoma State

I'm missing one...can't remember. Our loss was to West Virginia in 2000.

The funny/sad thing is that our two wins came against TCU (the 2001 variety) and Northwestern (this year).
Shockingly pathetic. Really.

Like I said earlier, there's no excuse for that sort of mediocrity with the resources y'all have.
When your decision makers care more about results against one school than the entirety of the season, that's what you end up with.
The fact that we had more NCAA tournament appearances from 2006-2011 than the entire previous 100+ year history of the basketball program should tell you something as well.
You're damn right there's no excuse.

Don't know how I left out the 1995 Alamo Bowl win over Michigan. Bowl record should be 3-14.

Explain to me how lowly Ole Miss has been to the same number of bowls and finished in the polls two more times than a program with the alumni and money such as Texas A&M?

We dominate the Big 12 in bowl games.

I already did. Same reason that Jerry Jones, with all his money and resources, has a grand total of ONE playoff win since 1995.
What the Good Ol' Boy network did in the late 90's/early part of last decade can only be described as criminal neglect.

I believe you're right. Liberty Bowl if I'm not mistaken.

Don't talk to us like we're Mississippi State because we're not. Your memory is just very short.

Yep, 1992.

There are almost as many people that live in Houston, as there are that live in the entire state of Mississippi. The fact that we are pretty much on par with y'all while playing in the toughest conference every year definitely says something.

The largest "move" in our relocation to the SEC is a move of less than an inch...between parts of the brain of our decision makers.
It is a shift in priority from "beating Texas" to "winning nationally".

Which I have already addressed.

"winning nationally" might not happen in the SEC when you have to play Bama, Arkansas, Auburn, and LSU week in and week out.
