Same as you... except I didn't just become a fan and just jump on the bandwagon.

Oh, and I don't have a criminal record, LOLOLOLOL.

This is a little friendly advice, coming from the fan of a team that's never won, basically anything.

WHO CARES who's the best team of all time? Why does it matter?? It's not something that could ever be proven.

Just be happy that you've been able to see you team hoist the trophy in your lifetime. Hopefully, I've got a few decades left to live, but I've come to the realization that I'll never witness that for my team. I'll never know that joy. Be thankful that you got to experience it and know what it feels like. Many of us never will.

Even if you have the talent, the probability that EVERYTHING works out just right for you team is still pretty small. So just enjoy the memories that you have.

And remember, sic gloria transit mundi. All glory is fleeting.

It's a topic that's been around for decades. Prior to 1995 Nebraska, it was 1971 Nebraska.

And people would bring up 2001 Miami, which I always thought was lame.

Then LSU fans needed to start pretending like 2019 was the greatest because they know they can't compete with Alabama numbers wise, even in recent history as Alabama had racked off 5 since their previous.

So that(along with pretending a 2020 season that was better didn't happen) is why LSU fans are constantly bringing it up.

They need it to cope. I don't think I ever saw a discussion here about it until then. It was mostly on forums that were for all of college football.

Personally, I'm glad I don't have to hear shitty arguments about 2001 Miami anymore, but the GOAT is still 1995 Nebraska and I'll let you know if that changes.

I doubt people here know much about the split championship between Michigan and Nebraska either, but it's a common discussion outside the SEC(Michigan getting a split title was bullshite).

Btw, if you really want to get at people, start telling them it's 1945 Army. Only reason I don't count them is because it wasn't in the modern era. But after WW2, they were unfairly stacked as frick.
