I said 4 wins max prior to last season and was very pleasantly surprised with how the year shook out.

With that schedule, and what we have coming back, anything less than seven wins would be a disappointment.

That said, eight or nine would be absolutely beyond my personal expectations. We are a LONG ways from getting back to 10 win territory. We need some better recruits and some prayers for that to happen again.

After avidly following Tennessee football my entire life i feel like we are poised to have the best season since Phil's hay day.

I don't see any team not named Bama or UGA giving us a tough game besides MAYBE Kentucky.

The rest are in either too much dissaray or just not talented enough to keep up with our offense which will set school and conference records imo.

Pitt loses its all world QB. LSU is hot garbage under a new coach who's system won't immediately improve them much and we catch them early. And our first from ur games are essentially lay ups heading into that matchup. For the first time in forever, Tennessee will likely be 5-0 undefeated heading into the Bama game.

We obviously need help at LB and DB in the NIL but this offense is going to be so dominant it wont matter most of our regular season. I am seeing a lot of similarities to this team and 2010 Auburn.

I'm predicting 11-1 and SECG appearance.

Heupal's offense set program records in it's first year with a depleted roster. Hooker and other stars are returning on offense and this just has the makings of a special darkhorse season imo.

I don’t see the vols getting a win at South Carolina given everything they lost on defense (and everything we gained on offense). Time will tell however.

Optimism is a great thing to have if you’re a college football fan.

Delusion… not so much.

8-4 if you’re very lucky.

Which would be 8 more wins than I hope you get.
