Much is made about momentum shifts in sports. In the Pros I think a real momentum shift is uncommon and rare for a lot of organizations. In college however, it is extremely common -- in just about every game really. Why? Because college players are young and most of them will never have the ability and emotional intelligence to play in the pros.

For the first time in a National Championship game where there were opportunities for momentum shifts, Alabama was having none of it. They fumble when trying to get up on Ohio State, it turns into a TD for them ... Bama was no fazed one bit. There was not a single game all season where one could say that the outcome was ever even challenged no matter how many times an opposing team led the scoring or appeared to be making a comeback.

I don't know who the better team is ... 2019 LSU, 2020 Bama ... 1995 Nebraska ... whoever the hell ... there's no way we can ever know. But I do know this Bama team was very special. Covid (if nothing else, at least the fear of the fear of Covid) affected everyone in college football. A lot of teams had a chance to do well but only Bama was really able to pull that part of it off. 2020 Bama is just a special team. I'm very proud of these guys. Not only is the talent through the roof, the coaching through the roof but the mental fortitude it takes to be champs no matter what is what made this team who they are. In my mind, this is Nick Saban's strength: transferring his attitude to his players.

Looking forward to 2021 season. While some people are debating who the best team is, Nick Saban is already making plans to do what it takes to win 2021 National Championship. Not bad for a 70 year old man.

Bama just kept playing our game - Mac "Just Win Baby" Jones wasn't gonna let this team not finish the season off right.

Dam, I thought we were going to discuss Special Teams perfection. Heck with it, shoutout to Will Reichard. Perfect on all field goals and extra kicks. Perhaps the most amazing BAMA stat of all this season.

In one season the kickers go from 0 to 100. This is another underappreciated area

No doubt - love having a kicker for a change, even if we didn't really need him too much this year. Nice to have in our back pocket
