LJS was part of the old Jerrico which was based in Lexington KY. They were bought and sold - similar to KFC post Colonel Sanders - and went bust. YUM bought them in bankruptcy - when they co branded the stores you are talking about - but they have since spun it off to a private group of investors.

Three of the private investors were Patterson's kids - Patterson Sr. was the first president of the old LJS and was also a founder of Rally's and Chi Chi's chains. Another investor was a franchise owner of Wendy's and Chili's operations. It was the Patterson money - via Patterson Sr. - that built the new baseball stadium so I stand by my original statement.
