Well, I bit the bullet.
I'm 100% Texas, both The University of (graduated '79) and the State (born in Austin '56); leave now and save yourself, or continue at your own risk.
Have enjoyed reading the RANT for a long time, as it never ceases to bring a smile. It is the BEST website for a view of college football from many perspectives, not just SEC, and occasionally, I read something that demands a response, so here I am. Kudo's to you, if you sucked I wouldn't be here.
I've been a college football junkie forever; I lived in Florida as a youngling and my first remembrance of college football was the Texas-Alabama 1965 Orange Bowl; went to the UT pep rally before the 1969 Texas-Arkansas game, along w/ 42,000 others, and was "hooked" forever. I was 13, had never seen more than 2 or 3,000 people at one time before. More purty girls than and you can ever imagine.
If you read this far, you'll know my perspective on college football. No apologies from me, "...That's just the way it is, mam..."

We’re actually evolving. A year ago this thread would have been full of “frick you”, “KYS”, etc but now we’ve learned to welcome them close, then stick the dagger in.

I’m serious. It’s my life long charitable mission.
