1. UT would've stayed in the top 5.
2. UT beats Arky in the SEC title game.
3. UT still makes the title game because UCLA and K St both lost that weekend.
4. UT still wins the title because they play FSU with their backup qb.

1998 Tennessee had #1 rushing D in the SEC with dominant defensive line.
#1 rushing offense in the SEC with nasty o-line.

2009,2011 Bama and 2011 LSU was like a clone of 1998 Tennesse team, except 1998 Tennessee team had more NFL talent.

18 players from 1998 Tennessee team ended up playing in the NFL.

They tried that. He stayed. What makes you think he would've left?

As someone that still loves the Vols, but not as much as I love Bama, I will agree with you on that.

At what point that TT was at Auburn did we have an opening? Tuberville wasn't getting hired over Bobby Petrino at Arkansas, to even imagine that scenario is craziness.

Going back to that infamous Arky fumble vs UT.. it has always been my understanding that the ground can't be a cause for a fumble because if the ball hits the ground before the player loses position the ball is down obviously.. so why wasn't that play considered down?

O geez. You really believe you could've stolen him from us? Why, because he is from Arkansas?

I'm not really sure. Manziel did basically the same thing against us and it was ruled a fumble as well.

I understand that but that is as obvious as a ball-ground-loss of possession play as there possibly can be.
