I admit, when I first heard the news before the Missouri game - as did every Redcoat since we were at practice - I was pissed. I called the season over, which is mighty out of character for me.

But 2 weeks have come and gone and we've seen what this team has done. It is not one person. Everyone has stepped up - the line play has been great, defense is playing tight coverage, Hutson has remember how to throw the ball and that he has some pretty good guys to catch it.

We will take care of business this week - I have no doubt. On the road at UK could get scratchy, but we need look no further than the LSU tape to figure out how to dominate them.

And then we're set up for a potentially 8 PM kick (same week as Bama-MSST, likely the 3:30 slot) against a highly ranked Auburn team. Gurley will be back. The fans will be back (the first home game in 6 weeks!). The desire for revenge will be high. We'll kill them in an emotional win.

We'll polish off a rent-a-win in Charleston Southern, and then hang 50 on the nerds since they have one of their worst defenses in decades.

We head into the SECCG at 11-1 and everything in front of us. Bookmark it.

Go Dawgs. See you this weekend for SousaVision #7...and a new GoPro has been procured.

Great post!

I wish you had been here earlier when some people (ok, mostly me) were freaking out.

I have now asked forgiveness for my Gurley bashing. He is a great player and by all accounts a nice kid who got caught for a small offense done my many.

I have repented and am now fully back on the Go Dawgs with or without Gurley train!

And good news on the new GoPro!

I agree. Chubb is obviously a solid replacement for Gurley and hopefully Michel will be ready to go vs Auburn.

We beat two better teams in our past two game than we face in our next two. I feel fine.

Awesome post. We just need to be focused and keep doing what we have been doing the past couple weeks and I think we will take care of bizness. One game at a time.

We beat this same team last year by 3 points WITH Gurley and WITH Murray. I wish I had your optimism.

The same team also lost to Georgia Southern in the Swamp. We eliminate the mental mistakes (or minimize them, at least) and play like we have been, we'll be fine. Rivalry games are strange, but I feel we win this one.

I agree. After beating Arkansas and Missouri on the road and knowing that Missouri blew out Florida in the Swamp, I am fairly confident that we beat the Gators in Jacksonville with our without Gurley.

We've got a better team this year, and uf I alot worse off. Not saying we don't lose cause I could see it happening. But I'm fairly confident we win and by a comfortable margin. They're really bad
