Ole Miss fans...Rawleigh Williams question

Is he solid to you guys or is he looking around for some reason?
I ask because we offered him the other day and he is already planning to visit. When I first saw we offered, I didn't put much thought in to it. He's been committed to you guys for so long that it just seemed like one of those throw away offers. However, I noticed this comment in a 247 article today that caught my and made me think that maybe he is looking around.
He's coming up to Fayetteville next Wednesday for a visit.
I know you guys recently took another RB commit so is he being pushed out or just doing his due diligence here?
Thanks!

I don't think he is being pushed out right now but it might be possible that we would down the line with our tight scholarship numbers this year.
That quote seems pretty generic though

Not really. Kids don't say that a lot about our offense in general after last year and especially not when they've been committed for a long time.
Couple that with the quick setup of a visit and I became curious.
It obviously mean absolutely nothing and he's just going to see the sights because he has nothing better to do.

With the way y'all use RBs is expect any high school RB would like your offense.
It will be hard to tell if he's pushed out or flips if he goes to y'all. We are tight on schollies and we have Swinney committed now.
I wouldn't be surprised if he flips, though.

You would think but the back to back terrible seasons is making it tougher.
I think if Bielema turns it around then it will be significantly easier to land a great back in each class. The system is definitely conducive for a RB to succeed in a big way.

I think he flips. We got like 7 rbs going into next season. We don't lose any of our backs. (Unless someone transfers)

I wouldn't mind him flipping and us picking up the kid from ocean springs.

Damn. Yeah that's a lot. Assuming Jonathan Williams goes pro after this year then we will have four on the roster after this year.

Who is this? Should we be pursuing him instead?

Walt Williams is who I think you are talking about. I'd link his 247 but he's a first class muffin diamond

If I'm a RB I'd say that about arky's offense. Someone said in our thread earlier that any OL or RB Arkansas offers is good enough for an offer from us. If I'm a power OL or RB, there isn't many offenses better suited. You get to play early and run block 80% of the time. It wouldn't surprise me if he ended up at Arkansas but I do feel it's going to take a purposely lack of attention from our staff. Not that he's bad, but we have Swinney committed and he would be our 8th RB on the depth chart. With our numbers as tight as they are, no matter how good a kid is, 8 RB's is too much. I say it will take some lack of attention because he committed as early as he did because of a very strong faith and there aren't many more programs as attractive as OM in that category

He'll flip. We are tight on schollies and this will be our RB crew his freshman season(every single one will get carries...this is only RB's that will play):
Mathers
Walton
Judd
Dodson
Wilkins
Brazley
Swinney
That would leave Rawleigh as our 8th best RB, and we still could have Buford and Moore as RB's as well...so, that means Rawleigh could also be our 10th best RB on our depth chart.
After the next two seasons, we will only lose Mathers and Walton, but will be gaining a possible 5* RB in Justin Conner.
I like RW3 a lot, but numbers are tight this year and I could see one side panicking soon. Great player though, wherever he ends up. Very underrated.
