Our veterans killed us tonight. Our freshman receivers really stepped up. Freeze and his vanilla play calling cost us just like bama last year but this time bit us in the arse. Tony bridges is horrible

We had 3rd & 4th string DBs in at points tonight. Womack needs to coach up the guys he has and get ready to face Bama & UGA. No more 3rd & Wommack 10 yard cushions or missed assignments. We should have won it but bright side is this wasn't App State of USA. Build off this & compete for the SEC championship.

A lot of blown coverages in 3rd quarter. Corners playing 10 yards off. Conner looking like Uncle Ernie. Secondary was pretty awful. Did not expect Chad to make as many mistakes as he did tho. TOS absolutely killed our D too.

We will be lucky to win 9 wins with how the defense looked in the 2nd half + the pretty much guareteed loss of Webster.

Well, I'm out. Unless we win a bunch and beat Alabama. Or, once the sting of this wears off and I thing more clearly. Then, obviously, I'm back in.

In his defense he is Robin, not Batman. Last night he had to be Batman against the #4 team in the country. And I think he was injured out there early and had to play through it. Just sayin.

Bridges hurt his knee in the 2nd or 3rd quarter.

I mean, Bridges was a coverage liability last year. Even if he's healthy, he's barely helpful.

We're done. The secondary is a shite show. The only way we will manage to compete is if the offense can outscore opposing teams, and we saw how that worked out in the 2nd half of last night's game.

Nah. Even if the wheels fall off, we win 8 or 9. We played a legit top-5 team last night, and just fell short. It happens. Don't let it ruin your fall.

We were up by 22 points. Since like 1970, teams that were up by 22 points were something like 2500 - 2. Now it's 2500 - 3. We blew a 22 point lead. Kinda hard not to get down about that.

I find it funny that every single game OM fans find someone to blame. We just lost to a better team.

Yes that is the bottom line. We sure picked a shitty way to do it though.

I'm hungover at work and pissed.

Eh... not melting, just venting. On the bright side, we held them to just field goals in the 4th Quarter. And... we didn't do to bad considering we only had the ball for 1/4 of the game. Dang turnovers.

Not looking for anyone to blame here. It just blows that Ole Miss collapsed like a dying star. They were up 28 to 6 against #4 and shite the bed. It sucks when you get to the point that it's not even a question of whether or not they will convert their 3rd and longs. The Webster loss is no doubt a major, major blow to the OM defense, but I'm not placing blame there as to why we lost last night. Ole Miss lost because they shite the bed and couldn't finish the game.
