On another note, im having a cheat day so i bought some smoked chicken jalapeno sausage and some duck poppers from LB's. Just cooked it with some other stuff, and it was so good! Im about to dive into a food coma

Oh shite I think I may die of a ruptured gut. Those fritters were enough (and damn good along with the pork rinds with spicy BBQ sauce) but I made the mistake of ordering the Pitmaster Sampler.....too much food....I tried to eat it all but couldn't. Thanks for the suggestion but I may not sleep well tonight.

I had an Ember's double smoked ham biscuit for the first time two weeks ago.
Amazing.
Also, I had BTC Grocery in Water Valley for the first time too.
Equally as amazing.

Just pulled the trigger on some Burner 2.0. Ready to hit the course. Anyone still down to do an Egg Bowl Scramble?

That Embers ham is like no other. I used to eat that for lunch all the time

Like the Driver or what exactly are we talking about here?
I think the only people that really committed were BeHop and I. I'm down to play though. I shot a 78 at the State Course saturday.

Embers is a newer drive thru place in Oxford. They have one on university and I think they have one on Jackson now. They said something about changing the name to my way or something like that. They make really good biscuits and bbq. I'm pretty sure they smoke their own meat. If you're in Oxford you should give it a try some time

Headed to Destin this morning for a few days. Where should I go eat that is little kid friendly?

I'd definitely hit Stinky's Fishcamp. Very casual atmosphere and the food is great. The sous Chef is an MSU grad and came out to talk with us while bringing a sample of the crawfish pie. The wait can be long but it is worth it. I'd plan on getting there either early or late (before 5 or after 8).
