DT Schackleford will be a key to the linebackers. He finally has the strength and agility back in his knees. He played his arse off against Arkansas' big lumbering OL and will be key against teams like Alabama, Arkansas and Tennessee. Those teams will be attempting to bully smaller defenses.

Russell and Strong will provide depth.

Lewis, Bird, Denzell, will start, Ray Ray, Marquis Gates and Moore will see some PT.

We won the LSU game with John Youngblood playing defensive end. He may have trouble getting on the field this season. Hopefully he gains 20 lbs and can compete with the talent coming in.

Not much really... He, Bird, and Christian Russel kinda play the same role. We at least have two rotations of starter quality in our 4-2-5 set

That's if Russel plays stinger which I think he can/will

Russell was brought in to play mike not stinger. Keith Lewis will be Bird's backup for the Boise game as he already has a start there and a lot of experience.

I agree. I wonder how good Alford is going to be in coverage.

SAM is Surface to Air Missile... That's a mobile SAM Turret... A SAM Site is like our patriot missle defense system (intercepts bombs or incoming missles before they reach their target)

Ha in case anyone needed clarification
