fricking Dodson. If he had just sucked it up and took the RS he would have been so much better off.

Now he'll have ONE year without Jaylen and Mathers ahead of him. They're both clearly going to be the future, with Wilkins getting the bulk of the carries in short yardage situations due to being a bigger back. If Dodson had taken the RS then 2016/2017 could have been the Wilkins/Dodson show.

Nothing we can do about it now. He'll just have to live with his decision. From his perspective, he came to campus in January to get early PT. So, I'm sure in his eyes he felt like he sacrificed a lot of his senior year to get here early. Just a thought.

Oh I know. I just wish that he had seen the situation upon arrival and been big enough to put it off for his future.

Oh well.

I don't expect them to get that much. Probably the same or a little more than SEMO

I'm sure down the line he will definitely wish he had. He's an 18-year-old kid who was named the best RB in the state of TN and broke the rushing record. I think that can get to anyone's head.

Mark's a good kid though. I expect him to stay and fight for a spot. If he works hard enough, he'll definitely get touches. I liked what I saw last night though. I'm with you in wishing he would have RS though. But I also think Kailo should have as well (Or have been moved to CB).

I think Kailo's future is in the slot or at CB, so I'm not as hurt about him not getting a RS.

I think Kailo moves full-time to track in a year or two. Just my opinion though. Hope not.

I'm actually surprised Kailo is playing football. He's a big time track runner. And most people in Bolivar County said he was only going to run track in college. Also Dodson still has his redshirt to use if he needs it in the future. He also has the option to use it in an unorthodox fashion like Carlos Thompson or Andrew Ritter.

I know several people who were certain Kailo would RS this year. They were certain that Dodson who got there for the spring semester would be ahead of him. Yet he caught on to the offense faster and found a role.

Those claiming he should be at CB, give the guy some time to learn the position. He was playing 2A football last year. With that speed he is a weapon at RB. Not a every down runner. No one ever thought that would be his role.

I guess I just haven't really been impressed with Kailo in the backfield or on KO's. Doesn't show the vision or cuts that you would like to see from someone with that type of speed. But you're probably right, that stuff will come with more experience hopefully.

I'm hearing that Mark is thinking about transferring ... anyone else hearing this?

I had too but one of my friends still in school had told me it had kinda been resurfacing ... I really don't know one way or the other for sure, this is why I asked.

Yeah, he did a nice job against Idaho (granted it was Idaho).

I think he messed up not taking a redshirt, but I hope he sticks around and the transfer talk is nothing serious.

He would have been so good with that extra year under his belt, question can we redshirt him next year possibly?

We could redshirt him his 4th year if he would agree to it

I thought that was how it was but couldn't be for sure if it was that way.

I really wish we could talk him into doing next year though ... if not let's play him more in these BS games.
