they only seed 1-16 though so the rest is more regional than anything else

there has to be some kind of seeding or how do they figure who is a 2 vs. 3 or 4. Who gets in and who doesn't.

Yeah USM as a #2 is unfair to them imo. Especially being paired with the number 4 National seed.

Was looking forward to the game tonight, but at least the postponement gives another off day to the pen arms that went Wednesday. Looking for a bright side.
Is anyone close enough to the team to know when Pierce Smith might get a chance to atone for his one awful appearance - 3 hit batters, 1 wild pitch and 2 ER's in 1/3 of an inning. I was hoping to see him in the Memphis mop up, but no luck.
