May not seem like that big of a deal but I found it interesting that Snoop got #5 and Q got #6. That means that if either wanted to switch to offense they would have to completely switch jerseys with someone not on the on the field roster of 60. Itavious is #5 and Jaylen is #6. Looks like Freeze is committing to having our best athletes play defense.

I understand why we would move Q to defense but I think he would be better utilized on offense. But I guess that's why I don't get paid to coach.

Yeah it tells me one of three things.

1. Our staff is less than confident in Snoop making it

2. We are stacked at slot. Remember Ja Mes moved there and did well. C. Moore, who would have been our starting slot last year, will be back along with Philander and Korvic. Plus you have to assume this is where Kailo plays

3. Kid is just better at corner. Hinds coach said Q was the best athlete in the state, which is why he played him at corner, wildcat, and slot. We lose Sawyer, Dehendric, and if I had to guess Brassell next year. We have plenty of slot WR for the future, but corner is a big question mark in '14 after Senquez.

Just one of those things that makes me love Freeze. He seems to find a place for these kids who Nutt would have left at a less profitable position. Does anyone think Nutt would have moved Mackey?

I wonder if he'll have snoop returning punts.

We certainly have a lot more options this year. We couldn't really put Jeff back there since we were giving him 20+ touches a game once he got healthy. It sure as frick better not be Korvic. I think we can find a decent PR out of Brassell, Jeff, and Jaylen. Let Jaylen and Kailo bring it back on KO's

Actually now that he's going through spring it makes me feel better. I didn't think he'd get a chance to.

And no Nutt wouldn't have ever moved RM. He'd be cat fishing instead. HE HE I LOVE HOLDIN THAT ROD WOOO

Colton Walls is a Clemson transfer listed at LB and I found this on web

"Colton Walls, the son of former Carolina Panthers tight end Wesley Walls, has decided to leave the Clemson football team."

Is he supposed to be any good?

I have a question, maybe German. What's up with nick Parker. 6'0 225 rb sounds like a power back to me. Why wasn't he used last year?

Neve figured out how to run behind his pads. Great athlete but the light never came on. I don't think he fits Freeze's style of play anyway.

OP, isn't the rule that you can't have 2 players on the field at the same time with the same number? If so, Nick could still play WR.
