I really like this basketball team.. No matter what we do in the NCAA Tournament... Theyve pretty much replaced the 2001 team from my freshman year of college that took us to our only Sweet 16.. They are gonna compete for the regular season crown that we have NEVER won.. Hell, we're 4-0 in the SEC for the first since the 30s!

Woah woah woah hold your horses. Good team but we still have a lot to prove. But they are definitely my favorite team solely because there seems to be a sense of consistency that I've never seen.

I dunno for me I guess since I'm not there it's not the same to me as the team with DC, Bam, Sanders, Abernathy. Now they were fun to watch. And the fact that I was at every home game made it all the sweeter

Still remember that buzzer beater Sanders hit against LSU. One of my all time ole miss sports memories.

Hey.. I'm far from a sunshine pumper... Hell, I hate the sunshine pumpers cause there hasn't been any to pump in a long, long time... But this is a really good bball team... they are probably gonna finish at or near the top of the conference with Florida 14 games from now.

I agree my friend. It also helps that the SEC is down a little. But this year is NCAA tourney or AKs head haha and I wouldn't want to be the team to play us

No way the team with Jason Harrison, Jason Flannigan, RaHEEM Lockhart, and the high flying David Saunders was by far the most exciting teams to watch.. I will neer forget I was sitting front row under the basket when David Saunders took off from the free throw line a jammed one home against Bama. We ran them out of the building. pretty sure we dropped over 110 in a game that won us the SEC West that year. I was also like 11 at the time and I got them all to autograph my hat through out the year. Maybe just my childhood memory but those games were so much fun to watch

I was at that game with one of my LSU buddies while we were in HS. He was already talking so much shite and we found my dad at his seats with like 45 seconds left and we all no how that turned out.

Do y'all think this shot was better/ more exciting than Henderson's?

My vote goes to Sanders because of the crazy events that's led to it and it was the game winner... What y'all think?

I remember going crazy after that shot against LSU. I was pumped after that. I pretty much couldn't sleep that night when I got back to my apartment.

Clarence Sanders was fun to watch.. But I'll take our starting 5 we have now over Reed, Sanders, Harrison, Harper and Lockhart... Lots of people forget but we had a Juco player with the last name Holmes that started a bunch of games on that team too... Our starting 5 now is much more athletic than that team.

I knew it wouldn't take long

Hate I couldn't make it down to Oxford today.. My dad and one of my brothers went but my wife and I have a 10 week old at home so not gonna make it to many basketball games.. How bout Jarvis today ? He's not only one of the most underrated guards in the SEC but in the entire nation if you ask me
