Was in Oxford a few weeks ago when y'all beat Auburn. I was staying with my brother who is a sigma chi at Ole Miss and had a blast. Y'all have some great fans and a beautiful campus. For those making the trip, I hope y'all have fun this weekend. I hope it's a good game, with the Dawgs winning of course
If you have any questions about Athens or anything, ask away.

Can't wait for this game always a fun time with UGA and fans are great. What should I absolutely do if I am coming in friday that night and secondly where should I go/tailgate (would it be better to go to a bar before the game or head out and tailgate)...
...And finally can wait to visit y'all between the hedges only this time I'll be the one telling y'all how awesome you are and how much fun I had in Athens while I walk away know that Ole Miss just got the victory not the Dawgs

Friday night: depends on your scene. Regardless I would make and effort to go to dinner downtown somewhere(I made a thread highlighting the good spots. I think it's on the 2nd page of this board.) if you're in to the bar scene you're in the right place. No matter your age group you'll be able find a few places to have fun.
There is a band playing at the ga theater that night which is always a great time. This is something I definitely recommend, even if you don't know the band.
Bars I recommend are Pauley's, the pub at gameday, Georgia bar, capital room, the globe, and walkers. Those are if you're older.
If you're in college then I'd hit up generals, city bar, sandbar, silver dollar, bar south, moonshine, whiskey bent, or magnolias. There's a ton of others as well.
As far as tailgating goes I'd look to set up on north campus. That's where the arch is located and is right off of downtown. You will probably be able to find a spot to set up since there are still some after effects of the restrictions which have since been lifted. Bars are definitely a great option. I don't know for sure what time they open but magnolias will definitely be open around 11 and is a great place to grab mimosas. They have a ton of big TVs as well.

What's the ticket scalping situation look like? I've been told we have box seats, but I really don't have much faith in our ticket source.

There will be plenty of scalpers on the bridge before the game. Just depends on how good of a haggler you are and how much you are willing to pay

I'm not worried about the price.
Just making sure I would be able to get them when these fall through.
