I don't get why this is a wear red game. Orange and red clash.

Because Bjork simply doesn't get color contrast. I got into a 10 tweet convo about it once our color guide was released. I cared more so that we are wearing blue against Arkansas at home. He finally just said "we can't control what the other school wears" and I just gave up. Once a picture of our stadium is released after the Arkansas game, I'm tweeting it to him and maybe his eyes will get it

Damn, first shitty renderings, and now this. Bjork is losing control.

Shouldn't we wear blue against Arkansas since they are red as well?

I answered your question in a very detailed manner

Ross... Is that you?

Edit: Why do you want it to be obvious how many Arkansas fans make up our 60k crowd when it could all look OM if we all wore red? We are accommodating our visitors by wearing the opposite. If the whole point is to have one universal color across the stadium, why would we wear the opposite of 10k fans we can't control?

Think about how it would look on TV if Bama came to town with their 15k+ fans and we wore blue? It would show all those Bama fans. We wear red and it looks like a packed OM house

Hmm. Yeah I guess I can agree with that. I think I would rather wear a contrasting color on the road though.

I mean I get what you are saying, but we have two different colors unlike most teams so why not exploit that by wearing the opposite of them?

I agree. But like I said, Bjork does not understand color contrast and what it does to a stadium. He doesn't know how to make a visiting stadium contrast and make a home stadium not. We are in a unique position to do both because we have two colors while most schools have only one.
