That was part of it, but also I felt like some of those young guys were intimidated. After playing the likes of Bama/Tamu/UGA/LSU I don't think that'll be the same case this year.

Exactly. You never know who will be the dark horse team of the year. Last year it was us, this year it could be Auburn or Mizzou or anybody

Agreed, but I can't imagine that Arky and Auburn will be as terrible next year. I know Auburn still needs a QB though. Hell, I'm sure no one thought Ole Miss would make a bowl game last year at the start of the season, including myself.

Auburn will better and so will Mizzou but the question is do we improve in accord with them ... if so we still have a chance to win.
I do believe Arky will be better but I just don't believe they will improve enough this to challenge us, the year after is a different story thougj

I agree with everything you're saying, but as bipolar as our FB program has been, it's hard not to have the WAOM mentality. I'm more excited this year than I have been a long time though.

I think we will line up with the better team in 7 games. But like you said it's College Football the team with the better talent doesn't always win. The LSU and A&M games I think they will have more talent but we will matchup well against them, and not to mention the Vaught will be crazy. I think we split those two, preferably beating LSU.

They werent bad when they played us. Now after they lost and their bowl chances were gone they blew, but don't expect a better Arky team than the one we beat on the road last year

We haven't beaten AU on the road in a decade. They have a new staff that will have them playing hard. Remember how tough it was for LSU last year when AU actually gave a shite? I think that game is tougher than the State game because of how early it is in the season

I hope we pull it out against AU but Malzahn knows Freeze and that's going to be a dogfight, but hell even Coonass is right every once in awhile so who knows we might be able to overcome the PlainsWarTigeaglerMen in Jordan-Hare.
