Why didnt we try any run any plays with dodson or wilkins when we saw we werent gaining any yards with mathers and walton, since we were so determined to run the ball

You do. It just leaves no margin of error. I honestly think Bama beats State, you win out, and Auburn drops one to Bama. LSU may rain on Bama's parade but I could see maybe Arky playing spoiler against them (or somebody at least). A lot of ball to be played.
At least you're not a blown call away from being tied for your division.

I've already said I'm not mad about the fricking game. Just mad at the people on here who act like we shouldn't care we just got embarrassed offensively because 3 years ago we were 2-10. Guess what 3 fricking days ago we were expected to win so who gives a frick about 3 years ago.

It was fricking embarrassing Realist. Our offense played like shite. What else do you want people to say though? It's not fun to be pessimistic and do the 'whoa is me' thing. We've got 4 fricking games left. We are 7-1. If you told anyone on this freaking board we would be 7-1 at the beginning of the season, 100% of the people on this board would have taken it. We still control our destiny. Yeah, we have to win the rest of our games but it's definitely attainable. Our defense is #1 in the nation and we just had our worst offensive performance in 3 years. I'm pretty sure we will not score under 10 points the rest of the season. That puts us in a good position. We have two of our toughest games at home and Arkansas figures out a way to crap the bed every time they have a chance. They're one dimensional and don't have the D that LSU has. As the great Aaron Rodgers said, "R-E-L-A-X". God damnit bro. Get it together. We need all hands on deck for the stretch run.

The L is what it is. Sucks but What I'm on the edge of my seat about right now is the injury situation..we need Big Rob and Cody back and ready to go.

Which is why i dont get why we didnt atleast try one of our bigger backs. Running up the middle repeatedly with scatbacks made no sense.

If we can get Still back and Tunsil can play through his Bicep issue then I think we can be OK on offense. Someone said RN came back in near the end of that last drive so I would assume that it is nothing major, God forbid. As for Cody, sound like a shoulder? Not sure how long he'll be out. But we have a competant replacement, I would think, in CJ Hampton. He's not Prewitt, but there shouldn't be a HUGE drop-off either. I would be most worried about Still and Tunsil. We need those two.

Did you actually get raped last night or something? You're the most irrationally mad person on here.

Good question. I think it comes down two those two not knowing enough of the offense and being proficient pass-blockers if Bo were to audible. Our O-line was struggling mightily. If I had to put some money on it, I would guess the staff trusts Walton and Mathers more in passing situations to help protect Bo. That's why. But that doesn't explain why the bruisers weren't in more on 1st down and obvious running situations.
