I feel like everyone is in such a hurry to tear all those buildings down because of what Boone showed us COULD be. With the exception of FedEx, the field house area is pretty cool and historic. Am I the only one who would be for something that could incorporate them while still looking cool?

I really wish we were getting a new, bigger scoreboard

If they could incorporate them and actually look good I'd be down for that, but it'll never happen.

That lettering above the pavilion
"The pavilion at ole miss"

Is the same lettering used at the tad smith coliseum.

Looks like shite.

Wish we had red lettering like movie theatre script, or something illuminated.

That is like adding a carbeurator to an electric car.

It looks alright at certain angles. I didn't like it at first but I'll wait and see when they finish it.

Agreed. Honestly think we could have created a better entrance to the Pavilion than what they built.

Like these below.

Also, are we going to get rid of the electric poles or are they going to stay up? That would be bush league if true.

The Pavillion was 95 Million and those NBA stadiums were 250+ Million. There's no way we're going to have as good of an entrance as them plus we're a College Basketball team with very poor support from our fanbase and not an NBA team.

Also from what I've heard the power lines will be coming down.

I doubt money is an issue with the signage. That's just the design they chose to go with.

If you don't like the front, you can always use the side entrance I guess

Oh I wasn't aware the scoreboard was getting enlarged. I wonder how they will do that? Will be pretty cool with the two other screens on the east and west sides.

Football is getting a brand new, bigger board.

Baseball is getting a brand new, bigger board.

Softball is getting baseball's current board.

Soccer is getting softball's current board.

Part of the current football videoboard is being put inside the Manning Center IPF.

I won't. I attended most games when I was there and always hated what a pile it was. I go to every Vandy home game and even that old place is impressive when it is well attended.
