1. Don't build FedEx Center so close to stadium that we Can expand there.
2. Don't continue to sink money into FedEx building so we can never move it or tear it down.
3. Address west side press box.

I agree. What would you do with the press box?

So you think something that will resemble the SEZ?

I hope it resembles Notre Dame, Cincinnati, or Kansas State.

Looks like they're taking the old videoboards down and leveling out the dirt

Guess they're going to make the new video board like they show in the renderings

I guess the ads on the side will no longer be there? Don't know how else they're making room for the larger videoboard

Based on the rendering, how much bigger will the new board even be? Doesn't appear to be that different?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. The whole NEZ area will look so much better than it did. People saying it will looked half-assed will be pleasantly surprised imo

One solid screen instead of having the two smaller boards for ads. You can google the difference in dimensions if you want an exact difference.

Also, the screen on the side facing the school is coming down too. Will a bigger screen be put there also?

It looks like they are going with a metal structure for the NEZ. It should go up quickly.

Worth noting... the 2002 south end zone expansion price tag was $25 million. We cannot do anything near that in today's $.

According to this inflation calculator it would only be 33 million

Boone didn't take into account how much it would cost to tear down the Starns and Fed Ex buildings, plus replacing them. It is more about being an inefficient cost for a stadium we wouldn't be able to fill, than it is something we could not afford. Had we not rennovated the Manning Center and went cheaper on our Arena, we would have been able to afford it. We just didn't think that was a better way to spend the money

IMO the rebuild of the west side should look very similar to the SEZ

Does the gap below the East Side Club Level bother anyone else? To me it looks super bush league on TV. IMO it would look a lot more aesthetically pleasing if we filled in that gap similar to what we did with the recent South Endzone expansion.
