I'm sure the Boise OL, TCU OL, and all of the other little schools that ran wild on us are star studded.

One (probably fairly insignificant) factor in our lack of a running game is how often Freeze's system uses play-option passes. Since there is an option to pass, the OL can't end up downfield, so they can't go too far past the LOS to even pick up a LB.

This assumes that they aren't being driven into the backfield, though. That's why the play-option part of the offense probably isn't that significant of a factor - but it's something to think about I guess.
