Holy shite at the traffic/parking situation. I arrived in Birmingham at around 9:45am yesterday. I didn't get parked until 11am. People EVERYWHERE. I parked on some random thug street around some crack houses. Kind of scared me to do it, but I was just wanting to get to the game. It was about a half mile from the stadium.

Food, beer, cokes were sold out by the end of half time. And I wasn't going to fight those lines through the first half to get food. I watched a lady and her daughter in front of me go get food for the family. It was middle of the 1st QTR. She didn't return to her seat until start of the 3rd QTR. I just stayed put in my seat.

Leaving the stadium wasn't as bad in terms of traffic, though traffic was really heavy with every one trying to exit out on I65.

The traffic on 20 was god awful. Legion Field was in much better shape than I anticipated. Five points was fun. I ran into Swayzeballa and OMreb21 at the bar. They were totally hitting on me too.

I went through the hood and had no trouble with traffic. Fully agree on them being unprepared. The concessions ran out of everything before half time, and all the Ole Miss merchandise sold out before the game even started.

I remember when we played TExas Tech in our cotton Bowl one of the big Hotels downtown ran out of Whiskey at its bar.

Damn we are good.

Lets go to Chik Fil A, or Cotton , or even Music City next year. (Obviously preferably Sugar or BCs but I'm being tame haha) we would have a blast again in one of those three.

Yeah. Most of it was picked through by the time I walked into the gates at 11:15. I found the shirt size I wanted, after searching 10mins through the pile of them. Those red Ole Miss shirts were selling quick. I was able to pick up the last Ole Miss hat that I saw on the table for my dad.

What side of the stadium where y'all on? I had a successful beer run in the 3rd quarter.
However pretty much all the food except for funnel cakes and nachos was sold out. I thought my car was either a. Going to be on blocks when I got back. Or b. not there at all. But it was all safe and sound when I got back to it.

I was in Section 30...the curve.

A cop told me to park on that street since it was a public street. I parked and it was fine. A guy comes in the park right behind me and some random thug walks up and told the guy it would be $10 to park. I spoke up and told the guy not to pay him, that he was scamming. The thug looked pissed. Which is why I was scared walking.

I agree B'ham wasn't really prepared for us. Traffic sucked but I really didn't care. I knew a lot of rebel fans would be in B'ham but it was way more than I expected. I had a really great time

Mine works nearly everywhere, but I've got Verizon. No signal as soon as we got to the hood.
