I completely agree. I didn't read an ED article though. I read something from Maroonandwhite or whatever the hell the blog is called.
I am not going to crown SP as the new king of everything. I do however feel real good about where he could take the team in the coming years.

Dak was not mentioned in 2015 in relation to a heisman. The heisman had already been given out.
This guy was referencing 2013 and 2014. Dak was not in consideration in 2013 at all. And 2014 he had a great year and deserved the talk and to be mentioned with the word heisman for part of the year but in the end he didnt go to New York.
And he wasn't claiming 2015 as if dak is being considered or mentioned for an award concerning a season that hasn't started... Because that is speculation much like he is trying to dispel in that article about speculation on how good Shea Patterson will be...
The guy was BS ing with most of that shite article and also on that line in particular.
That said, Dak had a great season in 2014.

Just pointing out how quick ED is to discredit Patterson just because he chose OM.
Maybe he has a point but it's kind of an irrelevant point. You can literally say what he said about every recruit in every sport ever. That's obvious to anybody who is sentient.

It's pretty easy to hate a team and their players while still respecting the talent. I realize that's not nearly as fun as trying to troll people by blindly ignoring obvious talent.
I truly believe that some people struggle with this concept and only want to believe that they have the far more talented individuals on their favorite team. That's what blows my mind when I read other message board, OM and MSU alike.

Ignorance abounds in all sizes, shapes, colors, and fanhood. It is something I struggle with on a day to day basis with people all around me, much less narrowing it down to OM-MSU recruiting.
