Does the mom think we are racist?

I have yet to be impressed by Knott. He reminds me of Kailo Moore too much.

^So true, now that you mention it. Unless he decides to sign with us. Then I think he's great.

Kailo was touted as a star DB who ran a 4.2 (3.8 Starkville time). He had great SPARQ scores too. But all he's done is play special teams.

How do you even believe that with him including USC. Our only shot is if his mom wants him instate but Bama is just as close so idk why she would. Perfect example of how our past kills us with recruits.

I didn't say I believed him, I just posted what was said. How is the past killing us with Knott, didn't his dad attend Ole Miss?

He's seen pretty significant snaps at corner.

And he's recovered some pretty important fumbles on special teams in some big games. Worth every cent of that scholarship.

He was a running back, and he's been playing a lot of defensive snaps this season.

I don't think so and this is where I think there is a difference. Kailo has elite straight line speed. Nigel does too, but can jump out of the gym and can stop and go on a dime, which is most important for CB's. I think Nigel is far more athletic than Kailo and having the second best Sparq score ever insist that. I hope you're right because I was the one in the beginning championing he's overrated because my little brother played with him. But he looks like he's developed in every aspect of his game tremendously. I believe he is a different player than the one my brother played with because he was a 4.5 kid a best. Brother beat him in the 100m dash when Nigel was in 10th grade. We are fast, but white boy fast. The way Nigel has developed in the past couple years makes me wonder what his ceiling is.

I dont have inside information on this, so keep in mind I am speculating. But the fact his dad went here, and we arent even in his top 3 tells me the past has fricked us. His dad played when confederate flags were waved and if he had an amazing experience here, Nigel would at least have us as his lead southern school. And I know you were just quoting someone else, so I wasnt asking "how can YOU believe that", but more along the lines of how can WE believe that top 3. He has visited USC at least, but yeah, that is just a school to say.

Idk, he's not a big kid. Im sure you could google his nike combine and find out. But at multiple camps, it was mentioned how physical he was, so size shouldnt be an issue. I thought that would be his Achilles heel because as junior he couldnt bench 135lbs, but apparently he's gotten stronger, which is easy to believe with how the rest of his body has developed.

Wasn't he really high on Oregon at one time? Sounds like he thinks he's too big for MS. Get back to me if he commits to State.

Dream school,as for a lot kids his age, is Oregon. What kills Oregon is its so damn far away. It also doesnt help that they look like they are garbage, unless they have an elite QB to run their system.

At 175 he can't play corner in the SEC. Not IMO. He'd have to put on 10-15 pounds which I'm sure he'd do. But there have been those who didn't.

Trae Elston started at safety at 175 as a true freshman. He'll gain any weight he need to but 190 is about as big as a CB needs to get unless they are 6'0+. Golson was 176lbs at the combine
