Neal's final predictions/guesses have CeCe to Florida.
David still has CeCe to us though.
CeCe has done recruiting right, no one has a clue where he is going

Neal and chase done for the night. Leave one final nugget:
Predict(confirm) we lose out on:
CeCe
Drew
Leo
Jaason
Scott
50/50 on Van

I say we get Cece, Leo, and Van. Others, you right. And again: I don't know shite. Gut feeling.

By "doing recruiting right", I sure hope you are speaking in the context of CeCe being a complete attention whore. I pray for the day that recruits quit playing games and just do what they have to do. This year has made me contemplate stop following recruiting forever.

Why? You guys haven't had any drama.

It's annoying to see for any program honestly. Just clogs headlines and recruiting websites which overshadows other more important actual information about recruits. Also leads to endless flaming and banter on recruiting boards, which is probably a recruits sole intention
.
ETA: The whole Leo fiasco is the reason I'm tired of it all FWIW even if we do end up with him.

What has he done that's so egregious?
Posted on 2/3/15 at 11:27 pm to UMRealist
Well, he was committed to Alabama, and then decommitted while on a visit to State. I was hoping for a State commit, but he turns around and commits to y'all
. Then out of nowhere decommits from y'all while on a visit to LSU. And somehow we lead now. This kid playin wit my emotions

Dude, take the amount of drama ya'll have had, add 100, raise that number to the 5th power, and you've got OM-level drama.
I like following recruiting because it makes watching the games more fun when I feel like I know something about the players. But this year it's been a net utility-reducing experience.

By the way, for anyone that doesn't have a 247 account but wants to know what Realist is like over there, it's this:
Remember in high school science class when a popular kid would get paired with three nerds in lab? He was obviously the coolest one in the group but is an outsider to their weird, awkward conversations so he just sits there and people watches while hating life. That's Realist.
247 poster #1:
DAVID, what're our percentage chances with every uncommitted prospect in the country, GO
247 poster #2:
David, thx 4 all u do again, u r so great, amazing, cute, and just a hard worker!
247 poster #3:
David, there's an account on TOS called fireman17 that said we lead for Cowart, Ivey, and Russell Wilson. Can your sources verify?
247 poster #4:
David, I heard Cece got a philly cheesesteak at Quiznos. Do you think that means Temple really has a shot? This coaching staff just can't close.
Realist:
Everyone needs to chill the frick out.

Exactly. Recruiting has become a joke. Not even fun to watch anymore even if there is no drama for my school.

This is the only reason I started following in the first place. Makes the games much more enjoyable. Especially if you have a situation like a 3* WR crop-dusting a 5* CB and you're one of the sole fans in the stands that finds it abnormally hysterical.

I love recruiting and the drama that comes with it. I mean what else would we be doing right now in the sports world? Football is over. Watching regular season basketball... Ehh.
College football is my favorite sport so it just kinda extends the season. Then you get a little spring ball, little recruiting in the summer and guys making it to campus, and then fall camp and the games. CFB is year round.

If college football is truly year-round then you have no excuse for not teaching your guards how to pull.

That's how I feel... I didn't get into recruiting until I got to college and it's only fueled my football obsession exponentially... The fact it lasts year round gets me through
Although I'm also an advocate for a prison football league that starts their season in March... More violent football that makes the prison get self sustaining revenue and keeps feeding my football addiction... YEAR ROUND FOOTBALL BITCHES
