We have an offensive identity? Werner is specialized in one thing, Freeze in another, and the only consistency is that they both just leave the game up to the defense.
You can't ignore that LSU is a heavy player, and our system is an excellent rendition of offense back in the 50s

Arizona. Not ASU.

So TB, you follow Louisiana players more than I do, who all could Shea bring with him? I know Jones, Allen, and I think Alexander.

Mississippi/Mississippi State. Same thing.

If we land Patterson I'll forget about Richmond pretty quick. Until he's being dry humped by Alabama's defensive linemen because we don't have a serviceable right tackle.
No matter what happens with the 2016 class, not having Richmond will definitely hurt.

Even taking the mustard-colored glasses off, Mykel Jones is the only guy I'd immediately be concerned given Shea's relationship. Mykel Jones' team mate is Daylon Charlot, who's going to Alabama. However, there's been multiple articles on how close mykel and shea are. LSU was initially most worried that USC would land the two, but obviously Ole Miss is the bigger threat now.
It's not because Willie Allen doesn't like Ole Miss, but it's more or less the fact he loves Alabama. We all know how big of a bitch it is signing someone Bama sets its sights on. But Grimes is an excellent recruiter, and it'll boil down to LSU's results on the field.
Ed Alexander...Ole Miss has a shot, but so far Ed O has been a mad man on the recruiting trail. It'll be interesting to see if O can land Ed Oliver, Rashard Lawrence, and Ed Alexander. That could be a crowded interior, but LSU didn't take any DT's this cycle. If LSU still had brick haley, I'd be nervous about Alexander going to Bama or Ole Miss.
I'm sure Patterson talks to Devin White from North Webster, who also like Alabama a lot. LSU wants him at linebacker, but Bama is promising him a shot at running back. He's raw but really athletic for 6'2" 240. I would imagine Patterson will be asked by Freeze to work on White.
Andreaz Williams is a team mate of Patterson and hold an LSU offer. We're in it for a ton of elite corners and signed two 5*'s this year, but he does hold a legit LSU offer. he'd be a nice pickup.
I'm really interested to see if Patterson shows up to LSU's "Boys from the Boot" instate recruiting weekend for juniors. I'd be nervous he makes the sell to the state's best while there.
Hope this helps
eta: tl;dr andreaz williams, Mykel Jones, and Devin White would all likely be in play for Ole Miss asap

Thanks! I am really looked forward to next seasons class. But we will have some battles with LSU, Tennessee, and Bama.

No problem. Trying to balance school with NSD, but that isn't working.
I also should add that Bryston Guidry and Glen Logan will be two names bringing up Ole Miss. Guidry was once a State commit. They're both great talents, but Louisiana has a surplus of DT's in 2016. I think Ole Miss gets one of those unless Alexander falls through for LSU.
I can't help but think Shea will put a hard sell on Jamal Pettigrew, a current LSU commit. I just say that because I have no idea why these athletic tight ends keep signing with LSU
I hope he sticks though. He and Jacory Washington lined up at 6'5" 230 would be filth

I think we've got our two TEs for the class.

Cooley will probably play WR.

Na, with his size, he is our TE of the future.
