He speculates on them sure but he doesn't make up quotes as far as I've seen or heard.

Yeah I doubt he's being unethical, I just get suspicious when I read the same vernacular time-after-time. I'm surprise they haven't either replaced him with a journalist or put on a part-time journalist to write there/replace him in time. I'm sure the board would have a meltdown if he leaves though.

I am wondering if we should go after Malcolm Faciane. We don't have a true second option at TE. Epps is still slender and Hibbler seems set on being a WR. Plus, Liggins can block, but his catching ability is questionable. I'm my eyes, it can't hurt.

I think he had off-the-field problems. Seem with AT. I'm fine with letting both fall by the wayside.

Haha one day two years ago (nkemdiches class) I was drinking whiskey in the deer stand and was bored/drunk so I got in a twitter fight with gene. It was so embarrassingly fun

Good God that year was a bloodbath for irrational State fans. I'm sure engie still wakes up in a panic every time he has nightmares about it.

If we had landed Chris Jones too, Mother of God...

What's everyone thinking about this Michael Howard kid? He isn't rated very high but has a shite tone of offers. What do all these coaches like about him?

I read that Faciane simply violated team rules in 2013.....so his track record has been fine since.

ESPN has him in their 300. I think he has the body to put on a little weight and still keep his athleticism. It's definitely a good sign that everything pointed toward him going to Oregon before we got him.

He's not a Laremy type, he'll take two years to develop but will become lethal in the screen game and passing downs in 2017-2019.

Stupid Tide propaganda got me again. I say we go for him then. We strike out on every fricking high school TE prospect we chase anyway.

No we don't. We took Christian Morgan from FSU. We didn't strike out, no way to know he would get hurt. We got Epps. We are getting Hibbler. Not to mention Engram who is a stud.

We have two good ones committed for 2016, but I just want to make sure that we cover all areas of weakness next season. Losing Engram for any period of time leaves us without a reliable tight end. I'm not counting on Liggins to be slimmer than 270.

2013: Parsons

2014: Blazevich, Helm, Washington, Richard and Wolf.

2015: Gragg

2016: Nauta

Engram wasn't high-profile when we landed him, but we did target and land him. Morgan getting hurt wasn't anyone's fault, but saying we don't miss on tight ends? Yes we do. 2014 was bad.

Yeah I love our two 2016 TE. Angel and Cooley will be lethal in Oxford.

That's what I was thinking about Howard also. Kid is fleet of foot and has the right frame. So if they can put +50 lbs on him in 2 years while keeping his speed/agility a great tackle. Just going to have to invest the time & effort.

If I remember correctly Helm or maybe was Parsons was the guy who wanted to commit but we wouldn't take it. Washington, Richard, and Wolf sounds like a law firm. I've never even heard of those guys. They aren't misses, we just didn't get them.

Gragg is from Arkansas. His brother played at Arkansas. You can't call that a miss.

Nauta. Really. Its not even 2016 yet.

Maybe I just don't understand your definition of miss. For me a miss is like Nyles Morgan, Chris Jones, Elijah Daniels. Guys that come down to the wire that at the last minute choose other schools.

I know some want like this, but Howard reminds me of Bradley So well. Came in more like a blocking TE and put on weight and became a serviceable OT.

Of course Sowell was much bigger out of HS. I'm speaking more on their route to playing moreso than size.

My definition is a player we want and don't get. It doesn't matter what time of year.

Jacory Washington was a big want for us but he stuck with LSU. Richard is Herschel Walker's nephew and it came down to us and Clemson and he went to Clemson. Wolf was a want for us then went to UT.

Luckily we are already set for 2016 with two really great players committed.
