Sam has a nice offer sheet on rivals including South Carolina, VT, Virgina, Miami, Wiconsin, West, Virgina, Louisville, and a crap load more.

Not sure why we wouldn't take him. He looks like Mat Womack.

Yancy(rebeloke) doesn't want to admit that his "sources" aren't telling him as much as they used to.

Sam Madden Hudl

I hope I'm wrong, but it seems like despite his size and weight, it takes all his effort to actually block to run someone down half his size.

He still got a RS year. So transfer wouldn't hurt. Not sure what kind of character he has though.

Also where's this assumption coming from that yancy doesn't get info anymore? He gets tons of it he does two things with it though: 1. He yancifies it with that special type of spin 2. He doesn't corroborate it before he reports it which is fine because it's not like he's writing for the NY Times

How did Yancy get that job, does anyone know? He said he was a business major at Ole Miss. He's a pretty terrible writer despite a decade(?) at Spirit. I can't help but think there are/were better candidates.

Chuck. He doesn't really write that much besides recruiting updates. He mostly does the podcasts and videos.

It is a big accusation to make, but I have a heavy feeling that Yancy infers quotes in his stories. All of the answers from recruits come off in the same vernacular and it never sounds like what a 17-year-old athlete would say.

I doubt it's to shape the articles or direct them in one way or the other. I think he just doesn't write it down quick enough or can't hear them in the recording, so he just fills in the blanks. It's something I've noticed in almost all his articles as a three or four-year member of Spirit.
