It is frustrating especially as a fan because its hard to come to the realization that the players you have just aren't any good. Its easy to look at a MSU or TCU and see they have lesser talented guys and they do fine. Yeah but both have extremely talented QBs and much better options at RB.

I tell you what if Luke doesn't have a better running attack next year he deserves to be let go. Next year he would have Tunsil in his junior season. Aaron Morris needs to get in shape. Taylor in better shape and a better understanding of the system. C. Morris with another year, Sims, Bouldin and Johnson should be able to contribute. With Patterson and Richmond adding pure talent. There is no more excuses next season.

Didn't you just call a poster terrible? And then you ask this about KP?

You know Lloyd Christmas never gets with Mary Swanson right? I thought it was a clear joke.

I can agree with you there, but isn't it Luke's job to find schemes that don't require bell to pull? Isn't it his job to do the best he can with what talent he has, because it doesn't seem like he is. I understand he doesn't have incredible talent at hand except for Tunsil, but he can try and get more out of them, or find way to use the little strengths they have and implement that into a somewhat functional scheme.

Part of the blame can also be Jackson's for letting these guys get so out of shape.

I'm the very last person that would defend Jackson. I think he sucks as a SC. I only can remember that stupid zass picture they took a few years back with the OL and the average weight was like 350lbs. WTF. He has done ok with guys like Breland Speaks and Jordan Sims, but there are several players like Liggins, Morris, and Bell where I think more could be done.

As far as Luke it isn't his job to keep calling that guard pull run play that hasn't worked all year. And while I understand maybe we could use a true OC to call plays, its hard to tell a guy that coached his way up from girls basketball to the collegiate ranks, let someone else do what you are known for.

The question I have is what other options does Luke have? Frigo the walk on? Justin Bell is pretty much it. Next year that won't be the case.

Gotcha. For the sake of argument though, do you think he has done the best he could have done? Maybe there is someone out there who is much better at coaching OL who could do more with the same, wouldn't it be worth it to hire them?

Our team will plateau unless we change to a better, more effiecient offensive scheme. Period

Teams like Oregon can plug and play and be just fine on offense, because of scheme

Ours is broke as hell right now. The End

I don't know if we need to keep or fire Werner and/or Luke, but something sure as shite needs to change. Next year they will have all the toys in the world.

If an offensive line featuring talent like Tunsil, Taylor, C. Morris, Richmond and Patterson, along with the serviceable experience of A. Morris, Bell, Cooper, Still, Conyers and Bouldin, can't protect a fricking quarterback and run game then Luke shouldn't be fired, he should be banished.

I've been anti-Luke since he got here. I realize Morris will never be the same player as his freshman year, but he has regressed majorly under Luke. Other than that, no one on that line, not named Tunsil, has progressed. Without Tunsil, our offense has never moved the ball. 2013 Egg bowl is the best example.

As for Werner, we'll see. I like what he did with Bo. Had Bo not hurt his shoulder and we had an average OL, our offense would have been as advertised. We HAVE to get Richmond and Javon, simple as that.

We just need the right players. I think it's easy to blame Bo, Walton, Wilkins for not being able to produce, but our success has fallen on a single position group, the OL. It's really bad. We really need to beef Liggins up and get him on the line. We have potential with guys like Taylor and Morris, but they need to grow and produce quickly.

Good night.. Does he not think he will start here? Can we make a LB coach hire already?
When is the dead period over?

Worse OL's have performed much better than ours.

We got significantly worse in the 3rd year of the system.

Speaking of coaching hires that can impact recruiting....I'd be really happy if we brought in Sean Patterson as the QB coach
