Last question anyone a member of scout? There is article of a 4 star Lb trimming his list. Does anyone know the name of that recruit? He is wearing a white with green lettering spartan jersey.

When it comes to numbers of players we will take at each position there is never an exact number. The coaches have a plan, but that plan changes with certain committments. For instance the coaches look to take 3 DT, well I expect us to sign Chris Williams and Breeland Speaks very soon and we lead for the #3 DT in nation. That's four there. When it comes to the trenches numbers don't matter. We will take any number that want to play for us if they are good enough

It won't be the backfield but we are looking at a QB from AL to play LB. Not saying that's the position we project for him, but our staff does seem to like big QB's to play LB.

Dude I live in Tn about an hour east of Knoxville and have come to learn that UT fans are the most unrealistic fans ever. They think just because TN has a high recruiting class in June its 1998 all over again and it's why all these recruits want to come to Knoxville. Kinda pathetic scratch that is pathetic.

They were also talking about locking down the state of TN in that thread. I found their delusion humorous considering Memphis will never be a lock for UT.

Memphis really is the key to OM being competitive in all of the Big 3 sports... So many quality D 1 prospects come out of Shelby County every year in FB, hoops and baseball... Freeze understood this from day one... I really like the way he has gone about it too.. He didnt make some stupid "build a fence" declaration like Orgeron did.. He just makes sure to get every Memphis kid to campus at least once... Regardless of what kind of shot the staff feels like we have with them.
