Our staff feels VERY confident about Are right now

I doubt it. Cooper is the replacement for Gennesy. Are might be, however.
That'd be my guess as well. But I'd still like to take Sims for center and don't think we would turn him down. I'd feel alot better about our OL the next couple of years if we get Are and Cooper

Its crazy to think that in the past two years we have gotten Tunsil, Morris, Golson, Taylor, Cooper, and possibly Sims and Are. I love it!

I think we take Are and Sims. YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH OLINE DEPTH!!! I think we learned that this year.

Does anyone think we retain CJ? Bama posters on their recruiting board are pretty sure the flip is a done deal.

I'm going to think he is ours until he starts classes at Bama. Although if he flipped publicly, it'd be tough for him to flip back.

Obvious character issues

Does it happen very often that a player gets kicked off a team for something like Pettway was kicked off for, and that player ends back up on the same team?

I can't think of any examples offhand. It is going to cause a meltdown among Bama fans. Most are not happy about this move and would rather have him get a second chance elsewhere. So, if you have nothing else to do, lurk some of the major Bama boards on Dec 19. Should be some entertaining reading.

"I made that mistake or whatever, but I love it over there. That was my No. 1 place in high school and I still love it there. I'm looking forward to seeing if I'm going back. We'll see.
The article makes it seem like he isn't sure if he has a committable offer yet or not. Maybe it is just poor English. The way he makes it sound is like they haven't told him he can commit yet. Who knows.

I think the university would have to readmit him since he was kicked out of the university and not just the football team. He sounds like he really wants to come back.
I don't know how I feel about it yet. All I've heard says that he is a good kid who just ran with a bad crowd, all of whom have been processed. On the other hand, if something else happens then it will reflect poorly on the university as a whole and the football program.

I saw in a 247 article that DJ Pettway was even more forward about where he wants to go. He said that, if given the chance, he would go back to UA, but it's not in his control.

Hopefully he comes here so some of our idiot fans can use him shaving points as an excuse when we don't beat Bama again
