My real-time observances during the game:
The Pacers are built a LOT like OKC. Very athletic.
5 minutes into the 3rd, we should've been up by 20 or more based on how the defense was playing. Too many hurried shots and wasted opportunities. Seemed like nerves. Indy plays better defense than I thought.
From that point on:
Reliance on Dort for 3's in the final quarter is no good. He was hot early.. he is never hot for the entire game.
Indy didn't seem to miss a shot down the stretch. I know they did, but damn they got hot.
SGA Hero Mode. That should be the one thing Daignault addressed post-game. SGA recognized they were keyed on him but he went tunnel vision-mode anyway. More 3 attempts and more Chet is what was needed.
Pacers doubled OKC's output in the final 5 minutes. Good game Pacers, but it should've never been that close at the end.

Great recovery win. 3 away from a title. Can the youngsters do what our original youngsters couldn’t?

Haven’t been a big NBA fan since the early 80s when it always seemed to be Sixers and Celtics fighting to see who would take on the Lakers.
That being said, Oklahoma (the state, not just OU) was awesome in their support of the NOLA franchise in exile, and they’ve been awesome in support of the Thunder. I caught the end of game one at a bar, and it had to be sickening for the fans. If only they could’ve just picked up ONE bucket down the stretch, they’d be 2-0. I still think they win the series.

They had to pay their own way. I recall some years ago a recruit was drinking a beer at a basketball game and was underage lol. But he paid his own way so OU wasn’t on the hook

I don’t like us changing lineup against what worked all year. But we just need one win of the two. Fri is now must win.

Wow, just wow! I thought we were cooked. Somehow, someway we took the game in 4th qtr. one of the best pressure comebacks by a young team in finals. I think we can win it all now.

I was in shock after the game. All game long I was bitching about the refs, low-percentage shot selections, not running offense, what did we have 3 or 4 made 3’s ?? wtf how did we win that game??

The Thunder have lost two games in a row twice this season. Once in April when they had wrapped the 1-seed and were mostly coasting/resting.
The other game was on November 19th.
That's it.

That loss in November was because Chet, Hartenstein, and Jaylin Williams were all missing for those two games. JDub was the center
