Only explanation is they didn’t want OU to win it in their first season.
Its chickenshit and is something the B12 would have done. Arms in softball are not like baseball and they had plenty of time to get it in.

Game 1 of our 4 title defense starts tonight at 5pm. Lets see how far this team can go. Young, and I did not expect them to do as well as they did. Great coaching job this year by Patty.

Good 8-0 run rule, did what we should and Patty played a crapload of bench players for experience. Also rotated pitchers

Having trouble with ESPN's app freezing on my TV. Sound at times is in and out. Was listening earlier on 107.7 The Franchises app and they were 2 minutes behind. frick APPS !!

15th year in a row OU has made Supers, NCAA record. Quite impressed how this years team has come together. Pattys best coaching job imo

Patty is such a genius coach. Had me believing we would not go far. Yet here she is 1 game away from OKC.

Ya, nope. Still not sure we have the pitching to win a title this year but expected a worse year. If any other pitcher can step up the next few weeks all bets are off. Still a new young team.
Pretty good parity in softball this year. I think schools are investing more money in coaches (assistants) and equipment. And since its still a fairly new sport in the big scheme of things, this means there’s a lot of room for schools to improve which is bringing that. Combined with no restrictions in transfers.
Patty is in her own league. But she earned it too. Played in a park when she got to OU and built the program over many years. Every part of the program is hers. I think she is just as proud of the overall sport and seeing it grow nationally
