Thanks. FYI, I don’t have Fakebook, Instahoe or any others than Twitter.

I never post or reply Tweets. But I’ve read it for years because if used right it has instant info.

For OU, I have built a few hundred names/accounts to follow over those years. I don’t even use the Twitter site. I save them on Safari and then created lists and just add to them as I find new ones.

Its takes a long arse time to learn who to trust and who has good info. Some regular folks get some good info via contacts with program. If an account goes bad I just delete it from list.

Its amazing how much info flows from Twitter. And its so fast. But thats all I use. Other than here. I do 100% of my posting from phone. Have no idea how this site looks on desktop lol.

I love this board site because you have everything in one spot. Want politics you got it. Other sports. Movies. Any topic you want they have a board. Thats why I came here years ago and only read. Then when OU made the move I joined. Its a quick and fun site.

At work I only use 5G not wifi. But am in a semi dead tower zone so sometimes I can’t get on due to low signal strength. Other times it loads a post but the tweet is blank as it can’t always load them. So my info is slower during work. Using phone I can make posts fast and still work.

Last note. Young kids love social media. They especially love “likes”. I look at some of the player postings on occasion to see all their “X Offered” posts - meaning they are posting about a school who offered. Then look at how many likes the OU post got them vs other schools likes. OU usually has by far the most likes. Not an end all be all but this shows recruits/portals the OU fanbase is active which they like.

I looked at our new TX WR likes yesterday and it was over 8K likes. Thats a lot. Stone coming back from portal last year got over 10K likes and is the most I’d ever seen. This TX kid is 2nd most.

Can’t hurt to show recruits/portals the fanbase is very active.

Lost another. Revamping offense this year. Gonna lose some good potential but we needed to do it. Some players will end up losing out by not staying. Building something special and that means role players will have chances too. Long seasons plus injuries equal opportunity for those who do stay/come
