Nice. Was worried about the shooting, but they just kept at them and prevailed. Very nice.

We were under our season avg in turnovers. Really gutsy win as we didn’t shoot well.

Coach JB was the perfect hire.

Women put up a fight but turnovers and bad whistle did them in vs SC. Big improvement over last game vs SC, a 40 point loss. This time by only 18. Factoring in SC had 24 FT attempts to OUs 12 (fouls were 22-13) it was closer than the score indicates.

One thing I’ve harped on all year is turnovers. These girls just don’t respect the ball. We had 16 turnovers to 8.

If fouls and turnovers are even then its a much closer game. But watching some of the senseless passes into opponents hands just drive me to turn the channel. Its hard to watch sloppy play and then some of the worst refs in any sport.

But I do like our coach. Its hard to break through the ceiling in WBB. You have to stay at a program many years and build it block by block. JB is doing that and will get that done in time.

First Sweet 16 since 2013!! Jennie has rebuilt the program! It will be hard from here but the season has been a success.

And lets hope the top recruit in nation picks OU on Tue.

Ironically, if Uconn wins today I think we play them next Sat. Maybe girls can atone for boys losing to them.

Turnovers killed them and not playing as physical in the 3rd and 4th Q like they did in the 2nd.
