Tenn @ OU

ABC averaged 6.27 million for Tennessee-Oklahoma on Saturday Night Football — more than doubling Texas-Baylor last year (2.63M)

OU @ Auburn

ABC averaged 5.04 million for Oklahoma-Auburn — up from Kansas-Texas in the same window last year (3.32M), though down from the comparable year-ago edition of the “SEC on CBS” (Georgia-Auburn: 6.40M). Keep in mind the CBS 3:30 game never had to compete with concurrent SEC action on other networks. ABC’s 3:30 PM ET SEC window aired directly opposite competing SEC action on ESPN, Arkansas-Texas A&M at 1.80 million.

Those 2 games prolly more viewers than all of our B12 games (minus RRS) combined.

More viewers means more high school players and parents watching. Means potential of helping recruiting.

I avoid a lot of the recruiting threads as I am usually in the Stadium as soon as they open the gates. Some games I’m in before they open them. It’s good to have friends. 30+ years of Season Tickets has its perks.

When you see Top Notch Recruits along with their Family it warms my heart. The Hawkins Family and others like them along with Nationally Televised Games in the SEC, then a win in Dallas will fill those recruiting seats for a long long time.

I remember some saying they were selling their RRSO tickets during and after the Tennessee game. Dallas will be fun. I was watching a CBS - Texas affiliate this morning. This couple had met at the Texas State Fair and are celebrating their 50th Anniversary. The Fair looked as crowded as I’ve seen it in the past. The game will be another sellout. I’d bet ESPN Gameday will be there again. Governors will make bets behind the Food Court. Another great game is upon us. Texans are boasting about how they will crush us just like they always do. After winning it’s always fun to take time time exiting the Stadium and count the skins of their Surrender Cobras laying in the stands.
