@GeorgeStoia
In next week's agenda for the OU Board of Regents...
Approval for the design of the West side stadium project, which will include: "47 suites; 64 loge boxes with seating for 280 persons; approximately 4,000 new club seats; and 6 club/lounge spaces for patrons."
Also included in the agenda is official approval for the construction company for Phase 2 for the baseball stadium renovations.

So $450,000,000 for 4,280 new seats? SMH, why can these swamp/deep state types not do what every fan’s common sense says to do — build a cheap north side second deck that brings capacity over 100,000, like all the other top SEC programs. I really feel like leadership wants to avoid success at times.

No, thats just the nicer things but the $450m includes expanding seating to around 100k from my understanding

Lots of social media arguments about decreasing seats. I was wrong before they are reducing 7,000 GA seats and adding 4,000 suite seats.
A lot of younger folks are staying home to watch games. And the suites add revenue plus those are the people who donate big sums to school athletics and football.

Heard a lot of people complaining on the radio about them not doing anything with the North end zone.
I had thought part of the overhaul had plans included the North end zone so now I'm not really sure of anything.

Seen some talk about that too. Some speculate that is next and that they need to announce it now to defuse the disgruntled fans complaining about losing those seats. All heresay though

I wondered if leaving the North side upgrades out of the pics was a ploy to generate some talk and anguish to get more doaner money.
The north side does need to look more complete like the south side.
I never liked end zone seats Ive sat some games on the north side about 20 rows up and you had to rely on the Jumbotron to see what was happening when play was on the south side of the field.

East side will be happy as tall as the west side will be. It seems like it takes forever for the sun to go down while sitting on the east side in late August and September.
