OU 3-3 throws game away vs Kentucky 6-1. Disaster in the Palace. Coaching malpractice.

Should be a great game. Expect some players back from injury. Mateer gained confidence can it carry over. Will be much cooler weather jackets will be needed.
Looking forward to this game.
Only played 3 times OU is 2-1:
1 Jan 1951 (1950 season): Kentucky W 13-7 Sugar Bowl. Note: Kentucky went 11-1 with only loss to 11-1 Tenn. OU went 10-1 with only this loss.
13 Sep 1980: OU 29-7 @Kentucky
18 Sep 1982: OU 29-8 @OU
So it’s been 46 years since we played. Love all these SEC games and new experiences for everyone.

Minchey is a decent size guy with mobility. Before he left ND, there was a lot of talk that he'd be the starter, not CJ Carr. But they've been living on the edge, and it will catch up with them against us. I think our defense will cause him big problems.

I’ll post it here since it pertains to practice effort. But we practiced the punt block 7 times and blocked it 5. Encouraged how prepared we were.
Best part: The code word they gave it was “Golden Hat”. So thats what they said before the play and all players knew assignments. Pretty damn cool because it won us the game as much as any other play. 7 pts is 7 pts.
Also, that FG cleared by a ton I think he had enough distance to be good from 60+ yards on it. Lots of adrenaline in our kicker lol

Wow what an amazing scheme we used! Our ST coach spent a lot of time on that. And players executed it (and the punter) perfectly.
Hats off to our mad scientist ST coach and players following plan perfectly
