Based on the availability report and according to ESPN's Pete Thamel, OU defensive end R Mason Thomas is not expected to play against Alabama. A big-time blow for the Sooners in a massive game.

So many defenders stepped up. Start of season we gave up less yards but got no turnovers. Now we give up more yards but get more turnovers.
And so many timely plays. Missing our best defender too.
Hate you had to miss the game but look at it this way. Every year on your daughter’s anniversary you can remember how we walked out of Bama with a huge win.
