On a whim

Yesterday my wife who keeps track of these things said a relative had messaged all of her contacts about the availability of two tickets to Oklahoma's game with Temple.

I thought nothing of this until she said the game was at Temple which I knew to be in Philadelphia, my mind went into overdrive.

Within the hour I had secured the tickets at face value (in secton 101 at Lincoln Financial Stadium meaning they couldn't be any better), booked seats on what will be a relatively short flight from the closest airport where we live (it is very rural) that went to Philadelphia and two nights at a hotel from which the stadium is visible just across the interstate. As a bonus the hotel could not be more than a mile or two from the airport in Philly.

So weekend after next we are going to see OU @ Temple, woo hoo!
