This one has been trending nicely for the #Sooners for quite a while now, as LINK members are well aware.
Much like Michael Boganowski, Oklahoma sees Eberhart (6-foot-3, 215 pounds) as a jumbo safety who will hunt heads from the defensive backfield.

Signing Deacon is huge. Coaches believed he was the best OL on the board. Way underrated. Bedenbaugh knows.

Of the 18 players signed in the 2025 recruiting class, 15 were committed by July 6, 2024 when Omarrion Robinson pledged to OU.
Still to commit were Elijah Thomas, Michael Fasusi, and the late flip by Jett Niu.
On July 6, 2025, OU has 14 pledges and are still awaiting decisions from Jake Kreul, Tyler Ruxer, Davian Groce, Jordan Clay, and Braxton Lindsey.
Despite all the gnashing of teeth, Oklahoma has a chance to put together a really good class.

Nagy sold him. Players see his NFL experience and contacts as valuable

The class will be a lot better than its ranking. We've always been pretty good at evaluating talent and developing 3 star kids into all-conference, even All-American, caliber players. And now we're really stepping up that approach so we can find underrated guys that won't break the bank. That's going to be very important in this weird new world we find ourselves in. Nagy will nail it.
