Missed chances. Bases loaded no oits get 1 run. Batter strikes out looking on 3-2 count with loaded bases and 2 outs. You have to widen your hit zone and don’t leave it to ump
Need to strike back on Sun, next 2 series on the road and hard schedule. Can’t lose many home games

OU takes down aTm 12-11 to win series. Pitching took a hit all weekend. But hitters came thru bigtime as well.

I think it was 5 innings that were ended on double plays? We got mostly trash singles and walks, but give credit to SEL's pitching. kept our bats off balance all night.

I hate losing and not even scoring. But we used a lot of roster which fits past years where Skip uses midweek to gain players experience.
We hit the ball just right at them.
My worry is LSU. Our Fri/Sat starting pitchers got rocked last week. Cam is facing his old team. We positively need to go 1-2 at worst and try for 2-1.
LSU is down so far this year but they have talent and will want a sweep. They are desperate to change the narrative. Last year they swept us in cold foggy Norman. I hope our players bring their A game. They could easily sweep us again with their talent.

Bad play all around. Xander had some great innings and saved our bullpen after Cam lasted less than 2 full innings. I would guess Xander might become a starter if Cam can’t recover from 2 short and bad outings in a row.
Only 3 total runs were earned lol. All by LSU. Our bats are quiet second game in a row and our gloves sucked arse.

Would be huge to win tonight. Our best pitcher vs their matching one
Since we are the only SEC game today if we win we would have sole possession of first place. Quirk in schedule but that would be cool even if only lasts a day. 7 teams are 4-2
Really want to get 2 of the 3. We have hard schedule ahead.
4-2 now. Play 30 conf games. I wanted 17-13 - we were 14-16 last year, so a 3 game jump. Against so many ranked teams thats asking a lot
