InVol,

Labyrinth is a killer awesome movie. Whomever the set designer was on the movie deserves an Academy award.

Unite,

The worm is great! That's when the movie starts to get good...when she discovers that what she thinks is the wall is actually a clever illusion leading to another part of the maze.

My favorite paradox

I really do miss the sorta Jim Henson era of movies, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Legend... Just CGI nowadays except for Guermo del Toro. He still does amazing creatures.

del Toro is amazing at creature design, but he most definitely utilizes CGI...he just does it right when everyone else screws it up.

You mean it still isn't one of your favorite movies? It'll always hold cult classic status in my heart.

Same with Legend, The Dark Crystal, Krull, Willow, Watership Down, etc.

By the way...does anyone remember Watership Down? The cartoon about super evil rabbits with red eyes who killed and ate good rabbits? Gave me nightmares as a kid.

I haven't seen it in years. But since I saw this thread earlier today I have been wanting to watch it! I'm looking for it now. Can I watch it online somewhere?

I loved Little Shop of Horrors too.

I've never seen that one.

You like Little Shop of Horrors?

"Feed me. Feed me Seymour. Feed me all night long..." Now that I'm an adult, I realize that movie was semi perverted.

Little Shop is awesome and yes it is perverted.

Fun fact...Jack Nicholson starred in the original Little Shop of Horrors.

Watership Down was classic. I don't remember it bring all that freaky though.

Labyrinth was great as well. Speaking of freaky, the Chilly Down fire starters freaked me out as a kid.

In addition to Magic Dance, I always liked "Underground" song from the movie too.
